Its been just about over 2 years, and I’ve noticed that training is a two way street. Human pup training is a lot of hard work and so is Handler training, pups! But hang in there, you gots this. Persistence DOES pay off with training Handler how to play nicely. This is a page of pawsome tricks and tips for both pup and Handler to have great bonding fun together.
MAKING FETCH HAPPEN
Yes, it is possible. Picture it: Handler throws the stick/ball/puptoy with an enthusiastic “Fetch!” The trick here, my dear woofs, is to grin wide and trot up to the object, look at it pointedly and claim loudly, “Found it!”, and wait patiently for Handler to walk over and fetch the object. Good Job!
THE POWER OF CUDDLE
I find that waiting for Handler to be quietly sitting or laying down is a wonderful invitation for affectionate cuddles, especially when they’re snacking on something yummy. Give them those smoldering puppy eyes and puppy love, deep into their soul and you’ll find yourself being handfed like royalty.
